Friends.
The corrupted ones.
The pure ones.
Which will you choose?
Which did I choose?
We all work hard for our own goals, survive our own mistakes and control our own lives without friends. But humans need friends to create friendship, for "Friendship is a strong and habitual inclination in two persons to promote the good and happiness of one another." Therefore, we should determine which kind of friend we should choose.
Should we choose the corrupted ones?
So that they can change our goals?
So that they can take advantage of our mistakes?
So that they can crush our lives?
Or should we choose the pure ones?
So that we can change their goals?
So that we can take advantage of their mistakes?
So that we can crush their lives?
War.
War starts when peace is gone.
Peace is gone when love vanishes.
Love vanishes when trust is shatttered.
Trust is shattered when friendships are crushed.
Friendships are crushed when friends become enemies.
Friends become enemies when people themselves want to be the enemy.
The only way to end war is to gain peace,
The only way to gain peace is to have love,
The only way to have love is to build trust,
The only way to build trust is to create friendship,
The only way to create friendship is to have friend,
The only way to have friend is to be one.
I choose neither the corrupted nor the pure ones. I'd rather work hard for my own goal, survive my own mistakes, control my own life and live life to the fullest. Without friends, I will not have to crush someone's life or let my life be crushed by others. At the same time, "Life without a friend is death without a witness", I do realise that I need friends. Both the corrupted and the pure ones to teach me the true meaning of life.
Friends, they tell you things you don't want to know about yourself.
